It’s a tough time for charities – the government has reduced grant funding and regulations are being ramped up, all while prospective donors tighten their purse strings.
Outsourcing does a tremendous amount to support the private and public sectors, providing companies with a competitive edge and helping organisations cope with severe government cuts, and those working in the third sector stand to benefit in similar fashion.
For the second SIG in the GSA's Charity Outsourcing series with DDC Charity Solutions, we will cover:
Did you miss our first Charity Outsourcing SIG? See what was covered.
Cultural transition: An aspect of outsourcing that can't be contracted for. What changes do service providers need to make in order fit in with the delicate roles charities play, and should charities be expected to change culture in order to fit with their outsource partners?
Finding the right outsourcing partner: What else makes for the perfect outsourcing companion? Can charities make do with service providers, or do they need fully-fledged outsourcing partners? With the great quantity of providers out there, how can charities ensure they find the best partner available?
Case study: DDC Charity Solutions will present a recent client case study detailing the benefits, short and long-term, that charities can experience when outsourcing.
